Drew is quickly approaching his one month landmark, and he is eating good, sleeping good (usually) , and still has that new baby smell:)
There are quite a few things that no-one bothered to mention to us when we were expecting a new baby.......for starters, I don't recall anyone telling me about staying up in the middle of the night, for hours sometimes. I am sure this was just common knowledge, but definately something that should be discussed further with new parents....
We are learning alot of new things, and that is just amazing to me, after all the books we have read, and all the people we have talked to. Having a child is by far the most challenging and rewarding thing I have ever done.
I really just wanted to post something today, but I have to tell you....I am really tired.
We took Drew to the mall for his first outing, and it was great. He just slept in his stroller and I am 100% sure that he didn't even know that we left the house. Last week we went back to the mall, and this time we went to a resturant and then I had to try out my baby pack. I love that thing!! It reminds me of the mini-me pouch from austin powers:)
I am going to work on getting some video of Drew on here soon, he cracks us up after he gets done eating, he will close his eyes and smile.....I saw it last night for the first time and laughed so hard! He has such a great smile, I am sure it will get him out of alot of things in the future.
We are going to take a trip this weekend to the Winter-fest here in TC, so we are really excited about that. I will get to use my mini-me pack again.
Everyone agrees that my knew cologne is very nice, if you are interested, I can get you some...I get a great deal on it.....I like to call it Ode De Sour Milk.
