The dance party went well last night, although I am fairly sure that the grownups did more dancing than the girls did. To be honest, it was Adam and I mostly having dance battles.....while everyone else laughed and made fun of our dancing skills ( jealousy is such an ugly thing). After Adam, Mel and Lidia went home, we decided to go for a bike ride. Oh Snap! Brooke was cracking me up. I stayed back with her because her bike tires are so small, that no matter how fast she pedals.....she can only get going about walking speed. So I just switched into the lowest possible gear, and then I had the same problem.
Anyway...we are just trucking along about 2 blocks behind Autumn and Michelle, and Brooke starts making these rhymes......so I asked her "where did you hear that?". She replies " Sometimes I just make stuff up like that", " I am just silly like that". I almost fell off my bike. Then, as we started to turn around, I said " wow, those two are really going fast", to this she said" I don't know why, we came out to have fun...it's not a race or anything!" She is Hilarious!!
You would think that after all this, we would be ready to settle down for the night.....right? Wrong! We pack up and drive downtown! We walked around and checked out the cherry festival booths for a about an hour or so. Do all kids want to buy everything they see? Michelle leans towards me in the Build-a-bear truck, and says " We are going to be broke when we have children"
Really.
The picture above isn't any baby I know, I just thought it depicted exactly how I am feeling today. I think I may need to start taking that Ginseng that I got for my 30th birthday.
