The most exciting moment of my life was at 2:00 pm this afternoon, when I am happy to say....I saw my SON for the very first time!! I haven't had much time to talk with Michelle since then, as I had to return to work. But from what I hear, she has been very busy making phone calls all over the Great state of Michigan.
Tonight will undoubtedly be a night of pondering names and fantasizing about playing catch or building a tree house in the backyard.......I can't remember a time when I had more things going on in my head than today. It's so hard to concentrate on everyday things.....that right now, just seem so unimportant. I have told my parents and sisters of the great news and the general feeling is basically the same throughout both sides of our families.......too many girls, not enough boys:) To me however, boy or girl, I would have been equally excited........Just to see my baby, and see it touching it's face and moving about, was the most amazing thing. We are more than blessed to have a baby on it's way into our life, and I can't believe that something this wonderful happens many times a day.
I have been so busy lately, with work and late night film festival viewings. I am a big fan of good films, and we were able to get to a few this year. First night was E.T. , and it was the re-made version with all the extra scenes and special effects, it still makes me cry.......one reason I was reluctant to go. The first time I saw that movie was in the theatre when I was probably 8 years old.......cried like a little baby. It's amazing, that that part of the movie where ET is all white and dying can bring back those same feeling...even after I have been run through the ringer of life.
Then we saw Grease.... my first time seeing it all the way through, and I have to say, it was very funny. I think my favorite character was Rizzo.....
Last but certainly not least was Indiana Jones And The Raiders of The Lost Ark. On my top ten movies of all time list. I wanted to be an archaeologist when I was younger because of this movie....until I found out in school that all they did was brush dust off old junk they first dug out of the ground. I was really hoping for the more action packed romance of it. Well.....I am off to find some buried treasure in the fridge......Pictures of _______ are up. Enjoy!

The girls in Kalamazoo are very excited about their new cousin...and Autumn said she can't wait to show him her soccer moves!! We are all very excited for both of you.
