I love fireworks! I think I may be a pyro-maniac.
I want to make a public service announcement directed towards parents of teenagers. If there is one thing that should be taught to our children..it is courtesy. I am not sure what is happening with kids anymore these days, but I can say without a doubt, that I am disappointed in the future outlook of our youth. There must be some respectful teenagers somewhere, and I wish I knew why they couldn't be sitting next to us during the fireworks presentation last night. After last night, I want to make two things happen in this country. Number one: A public smoking ban. Why do smokers just assume that it's ok to light up in the middle of a crowded place? I wish that I could have lived back in the wild-west. My image of the old west is that you carried a pistol everywhere......if someone was irritating you, you simply said " If you don't mind fella, could you please mind your manners and put down that cigar?" And knowing that you had a gun, I am sure they would oblige....but if they didn't......it's hot lead time. Second one: Freedom of speech should be limited to people over 25 years old. Not because every young person is a menace, but if you think about it, how many times do you hold your tongue when you would like to say something that would be considered rude? So if all of us should have to give up our freedom of speech on occasions to be polite, why not make people earn the right, maybe they would appreciate it a little more. And when did teens decide it was ok to play spin the bottle in a public place? Am I completely out of the loop?
The fireworks were good last night, but I think we may find a new place to watch them from next year.....so my child's first word isn't four letters long.
Baby Update!!! I am happy to announce that we have made it to the 13th week ( am pretty sure) And I have not gotten the fruit size of the week yet, but don't worry....I will:) Michelle seems to have made it through the morning sickness phase, which I am really loving. I didn't think I could handle her being sick for too much longer, it was really hard to be with her and not be able to make her feel better. I would say that, if it were possible, I would have the baby instead......but I would be lying.
Breaking News:
