We had a great time in Kalamazoo. Brooke was happy to see her aunt Shelly. After 3 hours of listening to Girls Greatest hits like "Oops I did it again" , "Walk like an Egyptian", and of course my favorite...."Girls just want to have fun", we finally made it home. Thank goodness for Sandy, she was thoughtful enough to leave the air on all day, so the house was wonderfully cool when we arrived. We then decided to go down to the bay for a quick swim in the lake....and I really wish we lived in the Caribbean, because that water was c...c...c...cold!!! Adam and I both decided to take a dive, and I think I may have had a moment of heart failure. Those polar bear people are really messed up in the head. Autumn and Lidia amazed us all with their chimp like traversing of the monkey bars. They were all so well behaved all day, I wonder how long that could last:)
The plan for tonight is to have another PARTY!!! Oh yeah, and this time I am bringing out the big guns! I ran over to gamestop and picked up some Dance Dance Revolution for the girls ( and me) to play tonight. Pair that up with sugar-cookies and pizza, and you have yourself a rock-your-socks off girly party.
It seems like every experience I have with children lately, I have been trying to figure out what I would do if they were mine. Don't worry, I won't beat them :)
You shouldn't talk Grandma Barb. I believe YOU are the reason that I flinch all the time.

Hey there, as "the grandma" let's hope you don't beat them. Remember, if its a boy dancing will not be an option til they are about 20. Barb
Uncle Chris you are setting yourself up for many more visits!!! Dance Dance Revolution??!! They are never going to want to come home :) I can't wait to hear all about it. Hope they are still behaving. Peter and I are enjoying our "quiet time" -- thanks so much for entertaining them. Don't worry, my sister has kept a running total of IOU's..so you will get to collect some day. Melissa
